Frequently Asked Questions

A few simple answers about what the porch is—and what it isn’t.

What is Porchlight for the Wounded?

Porchlight for the Wounded is the full name of the project. Around here, you’ll often see it shortened simply to Porchlight. It is a digital front porch for stories, reflection, and honest conversations that help people carrying unseen battles feel less alone.

What is When the Porch Light Is Still On?

The primary Porchlight book, growing from real conversations, lived experience, reflection, faith, and struggle.

What is the 30-Day Guided Journal?

A companion experience shaped around Story → Discovery → Reflection → Invitation. It creates room for the reader’s story rather than prescribing answers.

Is Porchlight counseling or therapy?

No. Porchlight is a creative and conversational project, not a counseling, therapy, crisis, or medical service. If you’re looking for additional support, visit our Resources page.

What are Porch Conversations?

Porch Conversations is the living conversation side of Porchlight—stories, reflections, and honest conversations about the things we carry. Over time, it may include written stories, photographs with reflections, thoughts from walks, video or vlog-style conversations, longer video, audio or podcast-style conversations, and behind-the-scenes Porchlight material as those formats become available.

Where can I find resources?

Visit Resources for carefully framed paths to additional support and useful material.

How can I contact Porchlight or invite Anthony to speak?

For general questions, messages, inquiries, or an invitation to speak, visit the Contact page.

Can I share my story?

Yes. Porchlight was built around honest conversations, and there’s room for yours too. If you’d like to share something you’ve been carrying, you can send your story through Share Your Story.

Where can I find merchandise?

The Merchandise page is ready for future Porchlight for the Wounded merchandise. Nothing is available to purchase yet.
