A place for stories, reflection, and the kind of conversations that remind us none of us are walking alone.
Come sit awhileSome of the most important conversations of my life happened in a place that barely had room for two chairs.
It wasn’t a church. It wasn’t a therapist’s office. It wasn’t even really a porch.
It was a small apartment patio where we laughed, drank, argued, stayed up too late, and talked about things we probably weren’t saying anywhere else.
At the time, I was still trying to figure out life—and trying to figure out what I was supposed to do with a TikTok account.
Then one day, I looked around at the patio lights and something clicked.
I remember saying, “Oh, I have an idea. I gotta leave.”
I had no book. No website. No five-year plan.
Just a name I didn’t fully understand yet:
Porchlight for the Wounded.
